This intensive 2‑day masterclass combines focused theory and practical training to help you strengthen your diagnosis, decision-making, and technical skills for endodontic re-treatment.

Delivered in person at Delta Dental Academy by Dr Massimo Giovarruscio and Professor Federico Foschi, the course is built around real-world problem solving and hands-on learning under magnification using the academy’s surgical‑operative microscopes and extracted teeth.

Hands-on microscope-based training

A major focus is practical skill development, including:

• Obturation disassembly (gutta‑percha and carrier‑based techniques)
• Managing canal obstructions
• Removing and bypassing ledges and separated instruments
• Managing coronal and apical perforations using hydraulic bioceramic materials

Faculty you can trust

• Dr Massimo Giovarruscio has extensive experience in endodontics, restorative and aesthetic dentistry, and is an established postgraduate lecturer and an active member of the European Society of Endodontology and the Italian Society of Endodontics.
• Professor Federico Foschi is Professor of Endodontology at UCL Eastman Dental Institute, Head of the Endodontics unit, and has a PhD in endodontic microbiology, with leadership roles in postgraduate endodontic training.
