2 Day Hands on Periodontal Surgery: Skills For General Practice
A 2-day hands-on periodontal surgery course for GDPs covering pocket reduction, crown lengthening, regenerative and mucogingival techniques with substantial practical training.
2 Day Hands-on Periodontal Surgery: Skills for General Practice
If you’re ready to take the next step beyond non-surgical periodontal therapy, this two-day, in-person programme is designed to give General Dental Practitioners deeper knowledge and practical experience in surgical periodontal treatment.
Taught by Specialists in Periodontics Dhru Shah and Dr Rupal Patel, the course blends clear, clinically relevant teaching with a large proportion of hands-on practical time, including opportunities to practise surgical techniques on gingival tissues.
What makes this course different
Hands-on focus: a significant part of each day is dedicated to practical training to help embed techniques.
Relevant, step-by-step content for GDPs: understand why surgery is indicated and how core procedures are performed.
Technique plus patient care: alongside surgical methods, the programme includes pre- and post-operative patient care considerations.

The principles of non-surgical periodontal treatment and communication with periodontal patients
