Perfect your preparations for predictable, aesthetic indirect restorations
Indirect work only looks as good as the preparation that supports it. Perfect Preps is a focused, two-day, in-person hands-on programme designed to demystify precision tooth preparation and strengthen your clinical decision-making for functional, predictable and aesthetic indirect restorations—both anteriorly and posteriorly.
Led at LonDEC (King’s College London), this course challenges conventional thinking around indications for indirect restorations and helps you refine the design features that make the difference between “acceptable” and consistently excellent outcomes.
What you’ll do (hands-on)
Across the course you will carry out and refine key preparations, including:
- Posterior full veneer crown (gold or zirconia)
- Posterior partial coverage onlay (lithium disilicate)
- Anterior full veneer crown (lithium disilicate)
- Anterior partial coverage veneer (lithium disilicate)
Your preparations are reviewed and appraised by the tutor, with discussion centred on the clinical implications of key design features—so you leave with clearer rationale, not just “rules”.
