A 1-day course for dental nurses covering how to assist minor oral surgery and basic implant procedures, with a strong focus on instruments, asepsis, scrubbing and draping.
Supporting minor oral surgery (MOS) and basic implantology procedures demands confident teamwork, strong aseptic technique, and a clear understanding of instruments, trays and surgical workflow. This interactive 1‑day course is aimed at DCPs—specifically dental nurses—who are involved in assisting MOS and basic implantology in practice.
Taught by an implantologist and team, the day blends hands-on scrubbing techniques with interactive teaching on the instrumentation and components used in MOS and implant cases.
The course is delivered by Dr Kashif Hafeez (BDS, MFDRCS(Ireland), FFDCRS(Ireland), FDSRCS(Edinburgh), PG Cert Med Ed(UK), FFDT RCS(Edinburgh), PG Cert Ment & Coach).
