Three hands-on phantom-head module days for dentists to rebuild confidence in indirect restorations, temporisation/luting and contemporary direct restorative techniques.
Stepping back into clinical dentistry—whether after a career break, as you settle into NHS practice, or simply after time away from key procedures—can feel daunting. This hands-on, minimal-lecture programme is designed to help you rebuild confidence at the chair by revisiting the practical restorative skills you use every day, in a supportive, no-judgement learning environment.
Delivered in LonDEC’s state-of-the-art phantom head laboratory at King’s College London Dental Institute, the course is structured as three separate full-day modules that must be attended as a complete programme.
1) Indirect restorations — preparation techniques & material selection
2) Temporisation & luting — protocols that support predictable outcomes
3) Contemporary direct restorations — composite (and when amalgam is still appropriate)
Taught by Ms. Chrisoula Nicolopoulos (BDS, PG Dip Med Ed), this programme combines educational expertise with practical, clinically focused training—helping you return to practice feeling capable, current and confident.
If you’re ready to refresh the fundamentals that underpin high-quality restorative care, this immersive phantom-head programme provides the structured, hands-on practice to help you move forward with confidence.
